There are a wide range of skills and training opportunities available in the local area, including; work based training, apprenticeships, business mentoring and coaching.
In some cases there may also be funding available to help your business invest in the skills it needs to grow. This information sheet details sources of advice and funding for training in the local area.
We are currently working with Gloucestershire Enterprise Ltd (GEL) to deliver a range of business training courses and workshops. Opportunities may include:
Starting a business
This is a two day course for new businesses, providing advice on all the necessary aspects of running a business.
Enterprise club
This is a free one day course to provide budding entrepreneurs with free business support and advice. The club gives people who want to set up their own businesses the chance to share experiences and access professional advice that they might not otherwise be able to afford.
Business mentoring and coaching
These one-to-one sessions with a successful, experienced business mentor are available to new and existing businesses.
Short courses and workshops
There are a range of short courses available to help new and existing businesses develop and grow. Examples of available courses include: e-marketing and web design.
